Enjoying a perfect working lunch at Six Portland Road, kicking off with crisp, melba toast and a light, creamy fromage blanc, lemon and chive dip. Simply delicious.
A west London find to remember, much like The Brackenbury, this is another small and perfectly formed local, where tables are set snug side by side with white paper table cloths, hang-your-own-coat pegs and a menu that offers simple, classic food that you want to come back for.

Great to support Ladies of Restaurants as part of their panel – In Conversation with… on the subject of ‘guilt.’ Oh how we all feel it at some point in our day, and so refreshing to bring it to the fore with a group of incredibly talented woman.
Hosted by Brogan Driscoll, Senior Lifestyle Editor for the Huffington Post, I joined Chantelle Nicholson, Group Operations Director at Marcus Wareing Restaurants and Maxine Thompson, founder of Polka Pants.
We discussed the importance of being able to say no, make and take time for ourselves without feeling guilty and surround ourselves with people who give us positive support.
